A Beautiful, Natural Option

Subtle, modest breast enhancement results have gained in popularity recently and there is now greater demand for alternatives to breast implants. For those women who are seeking an increase in breast size of one cup size, fat transfer breast augmentation can provide a beautiful, natural option.

What is Breast Augmentation with Fat Transfer?

Many women opt for breast augmentation with fat transfer as a viable alternative to using implants. Because the fat used is taken from the patient’s own body, there is no risk of rejection or negative reactions. Patients do not have to worry about complications such as capsular contracture or BII (Breast Implant Illness), nor must they undergo regular MRIs to check for implant rupture of silicone devices.

How is the Procedure Performed?

One of the beneficial aspects of any fat transfer procedure is that it extracts donor fat from areas where it is unwanted, typically the belly, thighs, or hips, achieving a secondary goal of contouring the donor region.

Once the fat has been harvested via liposuction, it is then purified and prepared for injection into the breasts. During the final stage of the procedure, Dr. Hutchinson will artfully transfer fat into the breasts to create an aesthetically pleasing result.

Who is an Ideal Candidate?

If you are seeking a modest increase in your breast size but are not interested in pursuing breast augmentation with implants, a fat transfer breast enhancement procedure may be ideal for your goals. Good candidates have sufficient fat in the donor regions and are in good health.

What are the Benefits?

  • Achieves a soft, natural looking contour
  • Poses no risk of allergic reaction or complications
  • Offers the dual benefit of slimming the donor area
  • Can increase the bust by one cup size
  • Delivers a long lasting outcome
  • Enhances self image

What Can I Expect After My Procedure?

Fat transfer recovery will be different for each person and will depend on the specific donor regions chosen and on your unique healing abilities. Most patients can expect to recover within 1-2 weeks; however, it’s important to avoid strenuous physical activity until cleared by Dr. Hutchinson.

During your healing process, some swelling, bruising, and tenderness are normal. You may be given compression garments to help reduce swelling and aid with your recovery.
